In a message posted in the early hours of this morning on Janet’s official website, Jermaine Dupri said that last night it was decided that So Excited would be the second single off the new album. Telling fans he was online at such an early hour because of jetlag, Jermaine said:
“We decided tonight that So Excited is the next single ’cause I know how bad y’all wanna see Miss Jackson dance.”

Janet Love has obtained information about some of the songs due to make it to the final cut of Janet’s new album, 20 Years Old.
SO EXCITED – “Drums pound as the bassline shudders resulting in a beat which many will gyrate to in minimal clothing in urban dancespots”
DO IT TO ME – “is packed with Oohs and Ahhs and lyrics saying: ‘Turn up the music, to drown down the screams, I need you all night baby. Your pleaseure is to give me pleasure, that’s why I call on you.’”
GET IT OUT OF ME – “sees bhangra beats pulsate as Janet’s breathy vocals career into slithering synths.”
ENJOY – “This track is a step back to Janet’s All For You era, and one to play with the car windows wound down.”
SHOW ME – “It’s very Gwen Stefani. Taking the talky bit from Hollerback Girl and inviting ‘all my ladies say S.h.o.w. M.e.’”
WITH YOU – “a beautiful ballad doing exactly what it says on the tin”

Janet has been in London for the last two nights and has been a busy lady! Arriving at Heathrow Airport in West London on Sunday, she spent the day at her hotel in Mayfair.
Then, on Monday, she pre-recorded several interviews at the GCap Media building in Leicester Square – notably one with Johnny Vaughan to air on Capital FM tomorrow morning and one for Choice FM which aired this morning (download here). She also recorded an interview which will be syndicated to local radio stations across the UK as well as one for national station BBC Radio 1 with Scott Mills which was on air this afternoon (download here).
Janet also threw a party for fans at The Met Bar in Mayfair. Those lucky enough to attend were the first in the world to see the new video for Call On Me and also hear selected tracks from the album, including So Excited.
Janet flies out of the country tonight on a private jet direct to Berlin.
Jermaine Dupri has confirmed in a posting on Janet’s official website that beginning in around two weeks time, Janet’s MySpace page will feature a reality style show. Exact details are yet to be confirmed.
A photo from the set of the Call On Me video appeared in The Sun newspaper today. Select fans in the UK will be the first to see the video for the very first time on Monday at an exclusive Meet and Greet with Janet. The video will premiere in the USA on Wednesday 26th July. Janet appeared on the Ryan Cameron show on Atlanta radio station V-103 today. Two videos of her appearance can now be seen on their website.
Jermaine Dupri has confirmed in a posting on Janet’s official website that Janet will appear on Oprah on Tuesday September 26th – also the date that 20 Years Old is released in the US.
