Airing on television news networks across the globe, the footage shows Janet dressed in white following directly behind Michael who appeared to be wearing an emblem of the Queen of England.

On leaving the court, Janet and family were greeted by a press frenzy unparalleled in any other court case. BBC News showed Janet getting extremely angry at a photographer trying to open the door of their limousine. You can watch footage here:

Janet will appear on the cover of Essence Magazine’s bumper June edition posing with Beyoncé Knowles and Mary J Blige, Janet Love can reveal.

However, The Daily Mirror claims that 22-year-old Beyoncé, who has been nominated for two Brit Awards, only agreed to do the shoot if she was in the middle. But execs at Essence want superstar Janet in the centre.

All three artists have agreed to pose. But no one’s had the guts to tell Beyoncé that she’ll be shunted to one side to make room for Janet.

A magazine insider told a British newspaper today: “This is going to be the biggest diva-fest since Whitney duetted with Mariah. Beyoncé may have got her way with Destiny’s Child, but this is a whole different kettle of fish. It’s going to be hard to keep everyone and their entourages happy.

“Beyoncé is the hottest thing in music right now – she has four Grammy nominations, number ones all over the globe and wants to take centre stage. But as far as Janet’s concerned, it’s a case of ‘been there, done that’.”

The pair meet at next month’s Super Bowl, where is Janet is the star of the half-time entertainment and Beyoncé is to sing the US national anthem at the start.

Maybe they can fight it out then!

Janet will be joined at the 2004 Super Bowl by the likes of Nelly, P. Diddy and Kid Rock during the half time show.

According to an update on FlyteTyme.com today, the album is still being mixed. Steve Hodge is currently working on mixing 3 songs for Janet’s upcoming album at FlyteTyme Minneapolis’ studios.

Janet and JD are leading a poll on PopDirt.com in which people predict which celebrity couple will be married by the end of 2004. They lead ahead of other couples including Justin Timberlake & Cameron Diaz and Mandy Moore & Andy Roddick. Check the poll here.

There is an article in the February 2004 issue of Ebony Magazine with Janet and J.D. under the title 10 Hottest Couples. In there section it says:

It was all a lie, just a big lie. That’s what renowned music producer and Arista Records’ executive Jermaine Dupri and pop princess Janet Jackson say of the rumors that were printed by a major New York newspaper and reprinted and repeated in media around the country. The high-profile celebrity couple did not break up last fall.
Janet did not call it quits while talking with Jermaine on her cell phone. Because the couple was hounded by the media who clamored to know more about what was going on behind closed doors, the two just immersed themselves into their individual career projects (both are busy working on new recordings due out early in 2004). But the romance continues, and when time permitted, they returned to the public spotlight—hand-in-hand, arm-in-arm. According to a close acquaintance of the two:
“Janet and Jermaine are definitely together, and have been for two years. They are in love. They never broke up in the first place.”

The 2004 Superbowl will air live in the UK so fans can be sure to catch Janet performing her new single. It will air at 10.00pm on Sky Sports 1.

Janet spent New Year’s Eve in Miami with the likes of Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. A few days earlier, Janet and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri were spotted watching Samantha Ronson’s rock band, Samantha and the Boys, at Prive in Miami.

Janet attended brother Michael’s party held at Neverland on Saturday. She attended the bash with her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. All of the other Jackson siblings were there too, with their children. Michael is set to spend Christmas in the UK and will return to the US in the New Year.

Other celebrities in attendance included Nick Carter, Serena Williams, Lionel Richie and MC Hammer.
