A new interview with Janet and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri appears in today’s edition of the New York Times to coincide with the release of 20 Y.O. in the US. Also in the interview Jason Flom, chairman and CEO of Virgin Records, refuses to speculate on whether Janet’s deal with Virgin Records will be renewed now that she has fulfilled all her obligations to the label. The second episode of Janet’s MySpace journal is now available on Janet’s official MySpace page. In the episode, Janet is seen on board her private jet on a flight from Atlanta to New York, in the back of a car talking to her friends, eating dinner at a Mexican restaurant in New York and at the House of Latex ball.
Janet’s brand new album is out today in the UK and two versions are available to buy. The deluxe edition comes with a glossy cover and a hardback booklet featuring full lyrics and amazing photos. The accompanying DVD features footage from Janet’s recent photoshoots, recording the album, auditioning the dancers and from the set of the Call On Me video. Call On Me enters UK charts
Call On Me has entered the UK Top 40 at number 18. It is this week’s second highest new entry. The album is released tomorrow.
