According to an article on People.com, Janet is in Los Angeles this week rehearsing for her upcoming appearance on The Today Show.
Meanwhile, host Jermaine Dupri drank champagne and held court in a booth with rapper Bow Wow. Dupri told us that girlfriend Janet Jackson couldn’t make the fete – or the VMAs – because she’s back in L.A. rehearsing for an appearance on the Today show.
As with previous Janet albums, the Japanese version of 20 Y.O. will include two bonus tracks – Roll Witchu and Days Go By. Roll Witchu is also available to fans who preorder the album on iTunes.
Janet Love has got its hands on a remix video for Call On Me. As you will also notice, we’ve also just added a whole bunch of other remix videos from eras past. MTV UK were on the set of Call On Me for a Making The Video special. Recently aired in the UK and due to air in the rest of Europe shortly, check out this clip from the programme which shows Janet affectionately playing with Jermaine and describing what the song is about.

It has been confirmed to Janet Love that Janet’s upcoming European promotional tour will not take in the UK. As UK fans will know, both music shows that Janet made regular appearances on have stopped. The BBC’s Top of the Pops and ITV’s CD:UK were habitual stops for Janet on her previous promotional tours yet it is primarily down to their disbanding that Janet will not visit the UK on this occasion.
So far, confirmed stops on her European tour include:
France: where Janet will perform at a free concert for radio station NRJ.
Germany: where Janet will perform on TV show TV Total.

Virgin Records today confirmed that Janet will appear on Oprah on September 26th and on The Today Show on September 29th. Janet’s performance on The Today Show will be at the Rockefeller Plaza and they advise fans to arrive by 7am.
The video for So Excited will receive its world premiere on BET’s Access Granted on September 13th.
