A tiny new promo photo has been released to promote Janet’s new street team. See it to the left.

Virgin Records, in association with FanScape, have created an online Janet Street Team in order to promote Janet’s latest album, DAMITA JO. Those who sign up and participate will have the chance to win some great prizes. So sign up now!

UK fans have the chance to meet Janet backstage at Top of the Pops on March 12th. TOTP will pay for travel and accommodation and all you have to do to win is tune into Top of the Pops on BBC1 on Friday 5th March at 7.30pm.

A new version of Janet’s official website (www.janetjackson.com) is due to launch on Monday March 29th 2004 to coincide with the international release of her new album, Damita Jo.

According to Access Hollywood, Janet will appear in the April issue of Ebony Magazine talking about her Super Bowl performance.

In the article, she says: “It was not intentional. It was a costume accident. It was an accident. That was basically it.”

Janet Multimedia has made available for a limited time only a backing track to Janet’s new song I WANT YOU. In addition, we’ve also added the Peter Rauhofer Club Mix of JUST A LITTLE WHILE.

With the negative publicity Janet’s been getting recently, we want to let her know how much her fans still love her. You can leave her a message and all of them (subject to content!) will be compiled into a book which will be given to her when she is in the UK during March.
