New Janet single expected Saturday
According to a new website launched by Universal Music Japan, Janet’s new single will be released to this internet this Saturday 15th December.
It also says that Janet’s new album will be released on February 2oth 2008.
Janet’s new album will be released in the UK on Monday February 25th. As usual, UK albums are usually released a day before their US counterparts.

Janet signs with William Morris Agency
Janet has signed a new deal with the William Morris Agency to represent her on all platforms. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Janet will be repped by a team of agents led by David Wirtschafter and Charles King that will run across multiple divisions of the agency including film, touring, licensing and merchandising, television, theatre, publishing and new technology.
Janet said she was attracted to the agency because of its long history. She will continue to be repped by managers Johnny Wright and Kenneth Crear as well as attorney Don Passman.
The article also adds that Janet is also preparing for a worldwide tour to promote a new album due in February.

‘Janet ready for family tour’, says promoter
Concert promoter Leonard Rowe has revealed in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that members of the Jackson family including Janet were prepared to tour together this year, but were held back by brother Michael.
“His brothers are ready. Janet is ready. But the motor of that car that makes the car run, isn’t just yet. … In April of this year, I flew out to Las Vegas and met with them all and he told me, ‘Let’s look at ’08.’ We wanted to go this year, but [Michael] said it would take a lot of preparation.

Janet attended Frederick’s of Hollywood 2008 Spring collection fashion show to benefit Clothes off our Back at the Hollywood Palladium last night in Hollywood, California. She was pictured with boyfriend Jermaine Dupri as well as High School Musical stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens and The Office star Rashida Jones.
Janet attended a book launch to celebrate the release of boyfriend Jermaine Dupri‘s autobiography last night at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California.
Others in attendance included “Why Did I Get Married?” co-star Tasha Smith, Travis Barker, Shanna Moakler, Mel B and her husband and Stephen Belafonte.
Janet was at the Hollywood Film Festival last night attending the 11th Annual Hollywood Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Janet appeared on stage to present an award to the cast of Hairspray including John Travolta and Zac Efron.
In an interview on The Morning Show with Mick and Juliet, Jermaine Dupri has revealed that him and Janet will probably marry. When asked by Juliet, “Are you going to get married?”, Jermaine replied: “Yes, probably.”
