In the UK today, the Hawaii show was finally aired on Channel 4. However, because it was shown in the daytime, a LOT of it had been cut and edited.
To start with, the show used different camera angles throughout showing more shots of the audience and better quality shots. Additionally, the quick change which is shown just before Alright was extended. Instead of cutting to the intro of the song, we see Janet walk from her quick change, hear the song intro begin whilst she continues to walk to the left hand side of the stage. As she reaches her entry point backstage, it cuts to the front of stage view as Janet walks on.
Many of the camera angles which were used in this airing will also be used on the DVD.
The songs which were cut from the show were: YOU AIN’T RIGHT, COME BACK TO ME, LET’S WAIT AWHILE, AGAIN, MISS YOU MUCH, WHEN I THINK OF YOU, SON OF A GUN, WOULD YOU MIND and SOMEONE TO CALL MY LOVER.
This made the show seem disjointed throughout and after one ad break, there seemed to be a technical error as they repeated ALL FOR YOU. After this, they cut straight to IF, making it look as if someone had made a big muck up! Don’t worry – a letter of complaint is already in the post!! (Just kidding)

I soo hate channel 4 right now, and my complaint is in the post and i’m not kidding!!!
i was quite disappointed by what they did to the show too – the actual concert was fantastic but the editing sucked. i too will be writing to complain. how the hell did they manage to show AFY twice??? and why did they edit out Son of a Gun, when it had Missy in??? and they hardly advertised the show at all either. har-umph!
well i am very disappointed in ch4! the editing was appailing!! the only song i was expecting to be cut was WYM but no instead they cut half the show! What I did see was fantastic and am very sad it was cancelled over here! I have started a topic bout this on the ch4 website if ne1 wants to go and add to it, mayb ch4 will take notice and repeat the show unedited at a later time!!
The What Have You Done For Me Lately medley was so good!, but like what everyone else thinks, the editing was crap. Why didn’t they just show the whole damn thing later at night?! I was sooooo looking forward to seeing the show but C4 really f*cked up.
Okay, I dont live in the UK. I live is U.S.A and why would they cheat UK janet fans like that I be pretty pissed off if I was a janet in the UK and they didnt all the Hawaii footage. YOU JUST DONT CUT OUT ANYTHING JANET. IT HER FANS WHO BUT HER WHERE SHE IS NOW MUSIC AND MOVIES!!! sorry lost it there for minute. if i lived in the UK i would be writting letter to Chan4 or whatever call it and tell them I am a dissapointed fan and I dont think janet likes having disapointed fans.

That is so full of crap!! They cut really good songs!! I only thought WYM & SOAG would be cut of !! If you want my advice, this summer buy the VHS or DVD, because that is crazy!
