Janet Love can reveal that Janet’s new single, currently untitled, is scheduled for release in Japan on 16th January 2004. The CD catalogue number is: VJCP-12177 for reference.
In addition, MTV reports that Janet’s forthcoming album is set to hit stores in America on February 24th 2004 (Daz’s 18th birthday!). This means that the likely European release date is February 23rd.

i wanna believe, but with everything thats going on with her brother, I anticapate a delay. Unless virgin is pushing the issue, which maybe the case, I think alot of people would like to destroy the JACKSON name . If you all remember, janet. was released & sales werre through the roof then the janet. tour sold out @ all places & this was during the time of Michael’s first trial. Michael’s quarrels never have & presumably never will affect the way people view Janet. They’d be some ignorant sons of bitches if they did judge Janet on what Michael has going on in his life.
OMG OMG OMG. I am so glad there is some more news on this album! I am a little suspicious that the album date is early or the single date is late and let me tell you why. Janet’s last album hit stores April 24, and the single hit radios feb 28. That is 7 weeks before the album! This is only like 4 weeks difference. I hope the single date is late and I think it might be because the album date seems more official since Virgin’s name is right next to it!

This is awesome, and very exciting. Let’s all hope Virgin really get behind her this time, compared to their dismal effort for All For You. It will most likely be a world release, so everywhere around the same time. She’s not the type of artist to release material at different times. Hopefully she comes out with a bang like she did with the Rhythm Nation Era, something over the top to show the public she’s back. Also, there’s no way people will judge Janet based on Michael, she’s the sweetheart queen of rnb, she can’t put a foot wrong!
I hope this is true. I am very excited about it and have a feeling that we are all going to get a sneak peak at the new single when she performs the Super Ball in February. I am very happy that we have a Janet album this Year. Very cool a Janet and Britney year!!!
🙂 Above all the excitment, i am compelled to see her new look and dance styles. Janet, as we all know, is not one to stick with one style. Each album has it’s own flavor, originality, and dance sequences which makes her fans (especially me) drawn to her creative works. Being a 2004 high graduate and a (Janet motivated) Dancer, I am totally ready to learn her new songs, dances, and hopefully one day join her on a tour!!!!! 4AllJanetFans she is never done, or complete… just satisfied for expressing one new level of her life. So I expect new albums to come in the future, and even if not her albums then new artists under her influence…… 2Janet Love always B. 😀
