Janet signs with William Morris Agency

Janet has signed a new deal with the William Morris Agency to represent her on all platforms. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Janet will be repped by a team of agents led by David Wirtschafter and Charles King that will run across multiple divisions of the agency including film, touring, licensing and merchandising, television, theatre, publishing and new technology.

Janet said she was attracted to the agency because of its long history. She will continue to be repped by managers Johnny Wright and Kenneth Crear as well as attorney Don Passman.

The article also adds that Janet is also preparing for a worldwide tour to promote a new album due in February.

‘Janet ready for family tour’, says promoter

Concert promoter Leonard Rowe has revealed in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that members of the Jackson family including Janet were prepared to tour together this year, but were held back by brother Michael.
