Janet sends wishes to Kevin Aviance

230606_janetkevin.jpgThe Post Chronicle reports that Janet recently made a phone call to singer and dancer Kevin Aviance recently after he was attacked by a mob of up to seven men on Saturday June 10th in Manhattan’s East Village. Four people were arrested on charges of first-degree assault as a hate crime, according to NYPD detectives assigned to the case. Aviance’s song “Alive” hit the top of the Billboard dance chart in 2002 and he is the most celebrated black, gay male dance musician and fashion designer in New York City and Los Angeles.

Khia confirmed for new song

khia.jpgJermaine Dupri today released a statement to SOHH Soulful confirming that Khia will appear on 20 Years Old. Rumours were circulating the internet that Khia was upset that she had been dropped from the album but in the statement Jermaine firmly states Khia will still be on the track So Excited.

Jermaine Dupri: “Contrary to what has been reported, Khia WILL be featured on the new Janet Jackson album. I can verify that the song, “So Excited,” which features Khia, is in the process of being mixed and will appear on Janet’s highly anticipated release, 20 Years Old, when it hits stores on September 26th.”
