The Internet Movie Database has created an entry for Janet’s upcoming television movie, Lena which will hit screens in the USA in May 2004. It states that the film will feature original music by Lennie Hayton (Lena’s husband) who died in 1971 and will be produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan (currently also working on a film on the book Fahrenheit 451 and previously on Chicago). The entry also confirms that the scheduled release to US Television will be May 2004.

According to Eurweb, Janet refused to do interviews or photographs on the red carpet at Usher’s 25th party because of her weight gain. She also wouldnt allow Access Hollywood to shoot her while inside the venue.
