Janet releases behind the scenes lyric video for BURNITUP!

To coincide with the release of her new album, Janet has this morning released a new lyrics video for her track BURNITUP! featuring Missy Elliott.

The video is shot behind the scenes of the Unbreakable tour and features lots of unseen footage.

Janet premieres BurnItUp! with UK Radio1 worldwide premiere

Janet tonight premiered her new track BurnItUp! on BBC Radio 1 in the UK to give the track its worldwide premiere.

The track, which opens Janet’s current Unbreakable tour, is undoubtedly some of Janet’s best work to date.

A remix of the track by Naughty Boy will be released in the UK at a later date.

Naughty Boy to remix Janet and Missy’s “BurnItUp!” for UK audience

UK producer Naughty Boy has told a newspaper that he will be remixing Janet’s upcoming single BurnItUp! featuring Missy Elliott.

The track, expected to be released this week, has been performed as the opening number at each of Janet’s shows on the Unbreakable Tour.

Naughty Boy told the Daily Mirror:

“I’m about to start work on a track with Janet featuring Missy Elliott. It’s set to be another massive collaboration. It’s very exciting times for the both of them.

“I’m going to be remixing the track for the UK and I look forward to meeting up with Janet soon.”

Naughty Boy has previously worked with Beyonce and Sam Smith.

Janet’s album will be released in the UK on October 2nd and HMV will stock an exclusive version of the CD which features two bonus tracks.

UK and European dates for the Unbreakable Tour are expected to be announced in the next week.

Janet opens Unbreakable Tour in Vancouver

Janet has officially opened her Unbreakable World Tour with her first show in Vancouver tonight.

Performing the classics as well as several new songs, the show opened with a new track featuring Missy Elliott, believed to be called Burn It Up.

Towards the end of the show Janet sang the title track from her forthcoming album Unbreakable as well as previewing other new songs such as After You Fall and Should Have Known Better.

Spice Girl Mel B to work with Janet

Spice Girl Melanie Brown has revealed that she is currently working on a track with Janet. Speaking to Metro, Mel B said:

‘I not scared of having another try. I am working with the best producers ever. I am now ten tracks in to my new record.’

‘I am doing something with Janet Jackson which should be amazing. I am also going to hook up with Missy Elliott again.’

Missy Elliott touts possible collaboration tour with Janet

In an interview with Washington D.C. radio station WPGC 95.5, Missy Elliott touted a possible collaboration tour with Janet. The host Flexx asked about touring and Missy responded:

“We’re trying to make that happen now, so hopefully this Janet thing, the Missy Elliott and Janet Jackson tour will be happening and I think that’ll be great. So hopefully, I think that together collectively, well, it’ll be hot!”
