Janet flew into London on Monday from Dubai, accompanied by boyfriend Wissam Al-Mana. It’s not known how long she is in the UK for.

Janet is reportedly working with brother Jermaine on a new awards ceremony due to take place in Dubai in April 2010, according to a press release issued today.
Jermaine Jackson announced the humanitarian award project, CTAO(Coming Together As One), the first televised humanitarian award to be organized in the Middle East bringing in Top Celebrities from around the world to the region. A project conceptualized by Jermaine and his sister Janet Jackson, CTAO show will be broadcasted around the world and is expected to bring international celebrities such as Nelson Mandela, Angelina Jolie, Mohammed Ali, Desmond Tutu and many others to attend the ceremony scheduled to be held in Dubai in April 2010. The event will honour celebrities for their humanitarian activities and is expected to bring international artists to perform live on stage bringing together a unique event in the region.
In the 80’s Jermaine Jackson and his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and of course Michael were the Jackson 5 that remains till now one of the most successful and best seller music band of all times. Travelling around the world together their success encouraged them individually to get involved in many charities that they supported for years. For the past few months with his world wide reputed sister Janet Jackson, Jermaine has been working hand in hand to organize the first televised humanitarian award honouring top celebrities around the world that have been using their name and fame to provide support and help to children in need around the world.
Jermaine Jackson the founder of CTAO is now touring the Middle East searching for the perfect place to hold the show. For many years Jermaine Jackson has been visiting the region and decided to make it the base of his project. CTAO is announced as being the “Nobel Prize” of Humanitarian Awards. The entire Jackson family is expected to attend and be part of this unique ceremony.
Janet features briefly at the start of Jermaine Dupri’s new video which shows her on the sand dunes in Dubai. The rest of the video shows Jermaine on board one of Emirates’ new A380 planes as he explores the First Class bathrooms as well as more video from Dubai.
In an interview on the red carpet at the recent opening of the Atlantis resort in Dubai, Janet told Reuters: “I love how you don’t have to leave the hotel for anything”.

Photos of Janet at the Atlantis celebrations in Dubai last night show her pictured alongside British entrepreneur and former Virgin Records owner, Sir Richard Branson. After watching Kylie Minogue perform a one-hour show, Janet and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri watched a spectacular fireworks show.
The festivities continue for the next two days.
Jermaine Dupri has posted a video of him and Janet in Dubai at the grand opening of the new hotel Atlantis, The Palm Resort.
Janet is currently attending the spectacular launch party hosted at Atlantis in Dubai with boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. The world’s largest fireworks display is due to start in just over 30 minutes followed by a concert by Kylie Minogue. It is believed to be the first time that Janet will see Kylie perform in person.
Janet Love has learnt that Janet will attend the grand opening of one of the biggest events of the year to celebrate the opening of a new hotel in Dubai tonight. Both Janet and her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri landed in Dubai a couple of days ago.
Atlantis, The Palm is a 1,539 room, ocean-themed destination resort located at the centre of the crescent of the man-made Palm Jumeirah in Dubai with 17 hectares of water park amusement, further marine and entertainment attractions and a collection of some of the most renowned world-class chefs.
Janet will watch as Kylie Minogue performs for her first time in the Middle East as well as the ignition of the world’s largest fireworks display.
Janet previously performed at the hotel’s sister resort in The Bahamas in May 2007 at a private concert.
Celebrities set to attend tonight include Oprah Winfrey, Charlize Theron, Michael Jordan, Robert DeNiro, Preity Zinta and Lily Allen. Other expected guests include The Duchess of York, Agyness Deyn, Boris Becker, Petra Nemcova, Denzel Washington, Samantha Ronson, Mary Kate Olsen, Mischa Barton, Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Rani Mukherjee, Gosha Kutsenko.
