In a new clip released ahead of tomorrow’s airing of Janet’s interview with the Home Living Network, Janet tells Richelle Carey why she’s heading back out on tour.
She says following a private show at Radio City last year and spending a lot of time in Europe – where certain people reminded her that it’s been 12 years since she toured (mentioning no names!) – she realised that she wanted to head back out on tour.
Janet has done an interview with Richelle Carey from the Home Living Network to promote her new book True You.
In a clip that has been shared on the Essence website, Janet speaks about her friendship with Tyler Perry.
The full interview airs on February 20th at 7PM and 10PM ET on HLN in the US.

In her interview with Piers Morgan, Janet revealed that she hopes to write an autobiography in the future.
The clip, which was not aired on CNN in the main interview, has been added to CNN’s website.

The first photo of Janet being interviewed by British host Piers Morgan has been published on CNN’s website.
The interview, which was conducted before Janet left for her tour in the Far East, will air on Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN at 9PM ET on February 15th (tomorrow).
UK viewers can see it on CNN (Sky Channel 506) at 2AM GMT on February 16th. It’s also repeated later in the day at lunchtime.
Janet was greeted by several fans when she arrived at Hong Kong International Airport yesterday ahead of tonight’s show.
In photos that can be seen below, Janet is seen carrying a Blackberry and taking her own photos of the crowd.

Ahead of tonight’s second public show on the Number Ones Tour, Janet last night performed a private show in Singapore.
Details of the show are not known, but Janet’s management team has posted a clip of Janet performing Feedback on YouTube.
The stage is very different from the opening show in Manila.

A second Janet show has been added to the Santa Barbara Bowl concert line-up.
Due to an overwhelming response, Janet will now perform Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th.
Tickets for the Saturday show sold out within 20 minutes of going on sale in January.
Tickets for Sunday’s show will go on sale Saturday, February 12th at 11 a.m.
