Janet visited brother Michael’s grave on Friday, one year on from his untimely death.

CSI Miami and Ugly Betty star Adam Rodriguez has confirmed that he taken part in a photoshoot with Janet for an upcoming issue of Essence Magazine.

Adam Rodriguez said: “Here’s a scoop for everybody, I did a photo shoot with Janet Jackson not too long ago for Essence. I think that will be out in August. I don’t know what it’s for though! They called me and I thought it would be good. Janet’s cool!”

In the scene, Phylicia Rashad is seen yelling to a window as a man holds his two children out of the window.

The film is currently being shot in New York City.

In the movie, Janet plays a high-flying New York magazine editor.
