Janet to appear on ‘Rush Hour 3′ soundtrack

According a message on Jermaine Dupri’s MySpace page, a new Janet track will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Rush Hour 3 starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.

The soundtrack, to be released on Island Records, will be the first time Janet’s music has been used for a movie since Nutty Professor 2 in 2000.

No further details have yet to be released and no date has been set for the soundtrack release, but presently the film is scheduled for August 10th 2007.
