According to Eurweb, Janet refused to do interviews or photographs on the red carpet at Usher’s 25th party because of her weight gain. She also wouldn’t allow “Access Hollywood” to shoot her while inside the venue.

Contrary to the rumours, it looks like Janet and JD are still firmly an item. They attended Usher’s 25th birthday party on Saturday at Pearl in West Hollywood with the likes of Jimmy Jam, Will Smith, Chilli from TLC and Janet’s co-star in Poetic Justice, Regina King.

Producer Kayne West will be in the studio next week with Janet to work on a couple of songs for her upcoming album. Kayne coyly told MTV News: “I don’t want to talk about it before it comes out, but it’ll be unbelievable.” Read the full article at MTV.com

Artist Will Downing has covered Janet’s track Anything from The Velvet Rope on his new album Emotions. As well as reviving this track, one of the songs includes a sample of The Glow Of Love - the song that Janet samples heavily in her track All For You.
